Arti Halai has spent more than fifteen years in the media industry working for both radio and television. During that time she has worked for some of the country’s largest organisations like the BBC, ITN News Channel, LWT, Mirror Group and Sunrise Radio.
Currently a television presenter for ITV1’s regional news output in the Midlands, she is the face for Central News. In an environment of constant change, stories can break in a minute and getting them to air smoothly, accurately and quickly means Arti has to be focused, energised and still connect with the audience.
During her career, Arti has presented, reported and produced everything from news and current affairs to magazine and lifestyle programmes.
Arti also presents live events. She hosts award ceremonies, annual dinners for organisations and companies as well as business seminars. She is often asked to compere at charity fund raising events and entertainment programmes.
Through her work Arti has gained a broad and deep understanding of behaviour, communication and the most effective way to get a message across. She continues to build positive relations with others through her friendly and approachable manner. She is lively, unique and empowering.
Arti is a practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming and NLP Life Coach. She holds a Life Coaching certificate from the Coaching Academy. She has a Diploma in Stress Counselling and Management from the European College Collective and a BA(Hons) in Social Policy from the University of Sussex.
