Media Training

Media training is about learning how to deal confidently with journalists, taking control of a situation and being able to communicate the exact message you want in a clear, credible and confident manner.

Opportunities in radio and television have to be seized and used to your advantage. To become a better communicator you need to practice how to deal with the media in various scenarios, whether it is for a live spot on a morning radio show, a recorded interview for a feature or an appearance on the evening news.

Media interviews involve recognising your presenting style and learning how to get your points across clearly and succinctly with passion and conviction. The media will, then, use the exact quotes and sound bites you have given them and the audience will remember you.

This is a very practical media skills course with all sessions using the latest participatory training methods, professional camerawork, playback and editing facilities. The course can be held on a one-to-one basis or for small groups. See media training course content
